James Richardson Technology Consulting was founded January 2008 as a sole proprietorship to enable smaller businesses take advantage of technology that larger businesses sometimes take for granted.

James Richardson, the founder, has been working with computers since 1982. Since that time he has gained experience in many industries, many operating systems, many languages, and many technologies. Industry experience includes comminications, insurance, utilties, and manufacturing. Operating systems include GNU/Linux, commericial Unixes, OpenVMS, Microsoft Windows, OS/2. Languages run the gamut from lagacy FORTRAN, COBOL, PL/I to modern C/C++, Java, php, (x)html, and perl to name a few. Technology experience run the gamut from computer systems to telco systems and from networking to Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC).
